We have to start off with a huge Congratulations to the 2016 South County Realtors Alliance Board of Directors and a huge Congrats to Ryan Mull our SCRA 2016 President!
When you think of South County in the Bay Area, I’m sure that the first thought that enters your mind isn’t luxury. The Realty Society along with dozens of local Realtors, affiliates, and their spouses were in for a fantastic treat as we kicked last weekend off by spending the evening celebrating local South Bay Real Estate, each other, and all we accomplished as a community in 2015. The highlight of the evening was without a doubt the inauguration of The Realty Society’s very own Ryan Mull as he was sworn in as South County’s Real Estate Alliance’s 2016 President. The evening started off with a cocktail hour where award winning local wine from Clos La Chance was served, followed by a mouthwatering three course meal prepared by the Cordevalle’s head chef, and finished off with a night of dancing and socializing.
Tucked away at the foothills of the Santa Cruz Mountains in California’s wine country, Rosewood Cordevalle is a hidden gem in San Martin that combines the extraordinary beauty of an awe-inspiring natural landscape with the convenience and hospitality of a luxury resort. Cordevalle sprawls over almost 1,700 acres and cradled in South County’s valley surrounded by rolling Northern California countryside, the resort is a sanctuary of gently undulating meadows, tree-dotted hills, seasonal creeks and waterfalls. Masterfully managed by luxury resort expert Rosewood Hotels and Resorts, Rosewood Cordevalle also includes an 85 acre winery and vineyard.
The architecture and ambiance of Cordevalle carefully reflects the natural beauty of its San Martin surroundings with meticulously designed, California Craftsman-style structures. The organic, historically resonant design, is carried throughout the resort, from the clubhouse, to the guestrooms, to the Golf Shop. Cordevalle’s interior design, takes its cue from the colors and textures found in the surrounding South Bay hills and mountains, and this rare melding of architecture and interior design serve to highlight, rather than detract from, views of the pristine golf course.
The understated luxury of the clubhouse incorporates over 4,100 square feet of private, state-of-the-art meeting and conference rooms, a cigar room, as well as three distinct dining venues; One Iron Bar, Lion’s Peak Grill and Il Vigneto, as well as special event dining for up to 150 guests.
The centerpiece Cordevalle is a 7,360-yard championship golf course, which boasts 360-degree unobstructed views, and is due to host the 2016 U.S. Women’s Open in July.
Cordevalle also features Sense spa, fitness room, outdoor pool and Tennis Center with 4 plexicushion tournament courts.
Many of us did stay on the property and to say the accommodations were above satisfactory would be an understatement. Cordevalle’s entire staff, from the valet to the concierge when checking out all went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
Whether you are a South Bay local and want a quick getaway, or are in the market to purchase real estate and want to see what the South Bay has to offer, Cordevalle is at the top of the list of the best Gilroy, Morgan Hill, and San Martin have to offer.
Needless to say, we had an amazing experience and we will definitely be back.
