    Get Up and Go March Weekend Events in Gilroy, Morgan Hill, and Hollister

    Gilroy

    March 5th: Raincoats and Rubber boots –  10:30 am to 2:30 pm Henry Coe Park Hunting Hollow Entrance. Bring the family out for a scavenger hunt near the creek. Event will occur rain or shine. For more info visit: www.coepark.net

    March 19th: Crab Cioppino & Shrimp Feed – IFDES Portuguese Hall 250 Old Gilroy Street. ALL you can eat. Tickets available at Al Pinheiro Insurance (408) 842-4619

    March 27th: Gilroy Gardens Grand Opening Day – 10:00 am to 6:00 pm Gilroy Gardens Theme Park 3050 Hecker Pass Highway. Its the first day of the 2016 season. Get out there and have some family fun.

    Hollister

    March 18th, 19th, 20th: Wineries of Santa Clara 3 day passport weekend. (see link to all information below)

    March 19th: Household Hazardous Waste Collection – 9:00 am to 12:00 pm  2301 Technology Parkway. Want to clear out things you may have around the house such as: fluorescent bulbs, tires, wood waste, batteries? Bring it over.

    Morgan Hill

    March 18th, 19th, 20th: Wineries of Santa Clara 3 day passport weekend. (see link to all information below)

    March 19th: Chardonnay Under the Stars – 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm Guglielmo Winery 1480 E. Main Avenue. The Joe Sharino Band returns for a dance concert in the heated white tent. Enjoy an evening of music, fine wines, beer, and soft drinks. Casual dress. 21 years and older. Contact winery for tickets.

    San Juan Bautista

    March 5th: Downtown Spring Arts & Crafts Festival – 10:00 am to 5:00 pm 3rd Street. Discover thousands of quality treasures from over 150 of the finest artist and craftsmen in the west. Admission is free. Food, drink, live music and fun for all ages.

    Other Events around the South Bay

    March 18th-20th (Downtown San Jose): Silicon Valley Comic Con – Convention Center 150 W. San Carlos Street. Celebrate the age of geek by bringing together America’s two greatest superheros: pop culture and technology.
